Dance being a form of art refers to the rhythmic movement of the body generally to the beat of the music as self expression, social interaction or in a spiritual or in a performance setting. It is a medium of non-verbal communication. Dance does not have clearly defined limits as it varies due to cultural, social, artistic, aesthetic and moral boundaries. Similarly, electric side and square are types of step dances while ballroom, ballet, tango and waltz come under the classical styles of dancing. African dance gives a mental representation of something with meaning or significance. Dance steps are organized and created by a choreographer.
